GIORNO 2 – PALERMO & MONREALE Dopo la colazione partenza per esplorare la cultura e la cucina siciliana. L'itinerario inizia con la visita al Mercato del Ballarò, dove è possibile vedere e gustare il famoso cibo di strada: panelle, arancine, crocchette e pane. Puoi ammirare i piccoli venditori e le bancarelle multicolori, la ricchezza di frutta e pesce, il tutto tra personaggi curiosi che urlano per catturare la tua attenzione. Dopo di che puoi visitare Palermo che si estende lungo la bellissima baia tirrenica. Fondata dai Fenici tra il VII e l'VIII secolo aC, fu conquistata dagli Arabi nell'83, dando origine a un lungo periodo di prosperità. Rimarrai incantato dagli ampi viali della città, dal centro storico e dai suoi palazzi barocchi. Visiterete le principali attrazioni della città: l'area normanna, i “Quattro Canti” della città e la piazza barocca del Duomo. nel pomeriggio trasferimento in minibus a Monreale per visitare i bellissimi mosaici in stile bizantino raffiguranti scene dell'Antico e del Nuovo Testamento. Rientro in hotel a Palermo. Cena e Pernottamento in Hotel.
GIORNO 3 –CANTINA FEUDO ARANCIO / AGRIGENTO After breakfast departure for the visit to the Cantina del Feudo Arancio: tasting of four different wines during a typical Sicilian soft lunch. Overnight in Agrigento.
DAY 4 – VALLE DEI TEMPLI & SANT’ANGELO MUXARO (Relational tourism) After breakfast we will visit the splendid Valley of the Temples, UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by almond trees. After the visit we will travel to reach the hinterland of Agrigento, where on the top of a hill is the small village of Sant'Angelo Muxaro (old Kamikos). After the visits, your guide will take you to a typical bakery to taste the typical homemade biscuits. This walking route leads away from the classic tourist routes. Return to the hotel in Agrigento for a nap. In the evening, dinner in a traditional rural country house, where between Sicilian music and food of the ancient Sicilian traditions, in a familiar and festive atmosphere we will spend the evening. Day 5 - Cooking Class – Farm Cultural Park / Catania Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Favara. This experience has guests spending a morning at the Farm Cultural Park of Favara (a city in the province of Agrigento). DAY 6 – MT ETNA & GAMBINO WINERY - TAORMINA After breakfast transfer to Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe and one of the most visited destinations in Sicily. Famous and fascinating not only for the volcanic phenomena, but also for the breathtaking views and the different types of vegetation visible during the ascent. At the end of the tour we will visit Gambino Winery for the tasting of 4 wines accompanied by a soft lunch of typical Sicilian products. After lunch , transfer to Taormina and visit of Taormina. The historic city was founded around 1300 BC. Later it was used by the Greeks and Romans. Here we visit the Greek-Roman amphitheater, the Cathedral of Taormina, the Piccolo Teatro Odeon, the Palazzo Corvaia and we can take a walk on Corso Umberto. The guided tour will last about 3 hours. DAY 7 – SIRACUSA & Boat excursion After breakfast visit of the Archaeological Park of Neapolis (Greek Theater, Roman Amphitheater, Latomie and Dionisio's ear). Continue to Ortigia where you will be enchanted by its historic center, dominated by the extraordinary baroque cathedral, but also the Fonte di Aretusa and the port. Soft lunch based on typical Sicilian products in a typical local Ortigia, by the Burgio Brothers. After lunch, we will go to the marina of Syracuse, where a boat awaits us, to make a 2-hour excursion around the island of Ortigia. We will also see the evocative sea caves of Syracuse. In the evening return to hotel in Catania, dinner and overnight
